Marksbury Primary School Welcomes New Headteacher

Pupils at Marksbury Church of England Primary School near Bath are welcoming a new Headteacher, Amanda Trim.

Mrs Trim joined the school this term, bringing with her 23 years of experience in education. Formerly a senior leader at Weston All Saints Primary School in Bath, she is now leading the team at Marksbury, a village school located 7 miles south of Bath, and 5 miles from Keynsham.

Amanda said:

“I have had a wonderful start to my new role as Headteacher at Marksbury School. The children, staff, and parents have all been incredibly welcoming, and I feel very fortunate to be part of such a warm and supportive school community. I am looking forward to working together to continue building on the fantastic experiences already offered at the school.”

Both Amanda’s former school, Weston All Saints Primary, and Marksbury are supported by The Partnership Trust, a multi-academy trust of primary, first, and special schools across Bath and Somerset.

Emily Massey, CEO of the Trust, said:

“Congratulations to Amanda on her appointment as Headteacher at Marksbury. We’re delighted to see her progress her career within the Trust. She’ll be missed at Weston All Saints, but as Amanda is staying within the Trust’s family of schools this is only ‘au revoir’ and not ‘goodbye’.”
